| The
players decide how this game should be played. Will they take the easy
option or take the harder one and potentially win more points?
Objective: to
improve decision making, team work.
Suitability: intermediate or advanced.
Set up: divide your
players into teams of four and give each pair of teams a small sided
soccer pitch to play on.
How to play: first
team to score gets a point and the first team to five points wins.
But
here's the twist! Before you start, give each team 10 seconds to
decide how many players they want on the pitch.
If they decide to play
with all four they get one point for every goal. If they play with
three they get two points, if they play with just two on the pitch they
get three points for every goal and if one of them is brave enough to
have a go on his own, he gets four points for the team if he can score
first.
Both
teams have the opportunity to change the number of players they use
after each goal is scored.
This soccer coaching game is
loads of fun and makes your players think tactically.
